YSK is a food manufacturing and sales company with its headquarters in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. We were founded in 1959 with the objective of manufacturing fertilizers and livestock feeds through the processing of fish juice. Subsequently, we shifted our focus to extracting seasonings and expanded our product line to include natural seasonings and dried food materials. In the 1980s, we began developing functional materials. Since then, we've achieved numerous successes, including the establishment of industrial production methods for N-Acetyl glucosamine (NAG). Our research and development efforts did not stop there. We also developed a range of functional materials using our core technology, “extraction,” including anserine, collagen peptides, fucoidan, and fucose. We are committed to pursuing “Good Taste & Good Health”. Currently, we primarily manufacture and sell seasonings and functional materials that come from natural sources. Our products are used in a variety of industries, including food, healthcare, and beauty. Many finished products are utilized both within and outside of Japan. |
All of our factories have obtained the FSSC 22000, an internationally credible food safety management certification. This certification was granted to Kakegawa Factory in 2018 and Yaizu Factory, Danchi Factory, and Daito Factory in 2022. We utilize this system to guarantee comprehensive food safety management. |
